Registration

We will select participants based on their CV and motivation statement.

The summer school primarily targets PhD and MSc students. However, we will also consider strong applications by post-doctoral researchers and practitioners subject to space and availability.

In the selection, we will strive for gender and diversity (including disability) balance. Participants will be notified of their acceptance either within one week of the regular registration deadline, or once the summer school is full.

Fees

The registration fee is USD150. This fee includes tuition, coffee breaks, lunch and the social event.

Upon acceptance to the summer school, participants will receive an email detailing the payment procedure.

Please note that registration happens in two phases:

• Regular registration closes on 30th June 2019.
• The second registration phase closes as soon as the summer school is full.

Student Grants

Thanks to ACM's contribution we are able to sponsor a limited number of applicants.

Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD/MSc program at the moment of application and should provide a proof of student status.

Grants might cover:

• Participation Fee Waivers,
• Student Accommodation,
• Travel Costs.

Please note that grants might include not full, but also partial support for travel and/or accommodation.

Preference will be given to:

• Students who actively participate in the Student Session;
• Students without alternative financial support for the participation;
• Sutstanding and highly motivated students.

Please understand that we cannot guarantee grants to all students presenting their research at the Student Session.
