University of Torino

Turin, Italy

FEDERICA CENA is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department, University of Torino, Italy.

Her research interests include human computer interaction and arti cial intelligence. In particular, she is involved in user modeling, personalization and ubiquitous computing. In recent years, she is mainly devoted in studying the implications of Internet of Things for user model and personalization.

She served in the program committee for the most important conferences in her fi eld (e.g. ACM HT, ACM UMAP, ACM IUI). She was the Program Chair at ACM IOT 2018 and ACM UMAP 2017, the Workshop and Tutorial Chair at ACM UMAP 2016 and ACM Hypertext 2014, the Publicity chair at ACM Hypertext 2019 and 2015. Moreover, she organized international workshops on holistic user modeling (UMAP 2017-2018-2019), social adaptive semantic web (UMAP 2010 2011) and personal informatics and quantify self (Ubicomp 2015- 2017).

She coordinates several projects related to personalized location-based services for Autistic people.
